This ring is lovely and is priced high because it is a real problem solver!  Its a 50 tooth Campy NR road ring that is NOS (perhaps minor shopwear but lovely) and has the Patent marking.  It is missing the stop pin (just a hole, maybe removed or not supplied in case some monster was going to use this as a time trial inner?).

Here is why we're asking more than typical.  If you are using a classic Campy NR/SR set up, the rear derailleur when assembled to maximize chain wrap will only handle a 52/42 with a 14/28 rear if everything is set just right.  If you have a 13/28 then there isn't enough chain wrap.  But, if you use a 50/42 ring set up, then you can use a 13/28 rear and have a smidge of wiggle room.  Alternatively, you could use this ring and a 41 inner, and make a 13/28 or 14/28 just work.  Again, set up is critical on these set ups, but we do it on our bikes and it can work.  So this means that Campy NR/SR rings in the 50 or 51 size have a very useful purpose for those trying to get maximum low gears with the classic derailleurs.  So knowing this, you might go shoping elsewhere and find one less expensive.  But since we only have one, and this is not expensive in the world of modern bike parts, we've priced it accordingly.
