The holy grail of wide ratio 6sp freewheels that can be made to work with a Campy NR/SR drivetrain. We can't remember the last time we saw an example like this in the original can!
New old stock never used. The ratio is 14-28. Cogs are 14,16,19,22,25,28. With proper set up of an Nuovo Record/Super Record rear derailleur (set to the position with more chain wrap and the wheel far back in the dropouts) and with a 10 tooth gap up front (like a 52/42) experianced mechanics can make this freewheel work with the chain neither too loose or too tight at the extreams. This freewheel is factory fresh and in the original tin (tin may only be in fair shape).
The threads are ISO which means it's a Class A (perfect fit) on either BSC or true Italian threaded hubs. It also is a perfect fit, of course, on a true ISO threaded hub.
Regina America freewheels are top quality. The Regina America body is very high quality. It is pretty much similar to the CX system (uses the same cogs) but the bodies are snazzier and have a seal that in theory helps repell dirt. This is a wide space freewheel designed for roughly 126mm rear spaced hubs/frames. You can use a wide space chain to get that nice positive ker-chunk sound when you shift. Or you can use a narrower space chain (one for narrow 6-8 speed) for quieter and quicker shifting (but you loose some of the ker-chunk feeling that some folks like).
We have a few of these - the photos are representative of the quality you will receive. Note that like all older production freewheels, YOU MUST drip some oil into the body. We like Phil Tenacious oil. DO NOT use grease, the freewheel was oiled at the factory (and not greased).
